Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR professional to take full ownership of the Human Resources function. This role involves reviewing and refining our existing policies, managing day-to-day HR needs, ensuring compliance, and serving as a trusted advisor to leadership on all employee-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
· Review and update the employee handbook, ensuring compliance and clarity
· Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes
· Support employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary procedures
· Manage benefits, compensation structures, and annual enrollment processes
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
· Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
· Provide guidance to leadership on HR policies, culture, and best practices
· Assist with employee engagement, retention, and training initiatives
Qualifications
· 5 years of HR experience, ideally in a generalist or management role
· Strong knowledge of employment law and HR operations
· Proven ability to implement and maintain HR policies and procedures
· Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
· HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus
