We are looking for a new licensed massage therapist to join our team and provide exceptional massage services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in a variety of massage techniques, including swedish, deep tissue, and hot stone, Reflexology knowledge would be a great bonus, but not mandatory. Eager to learn, and willing to learn Alabamas Healing Hands way of doing things. This successful candidate will be able to work independently without having to be watched and looked over at all times. This candidate is clean and organized and does things with excellence. Possess EXCELLENT customer service skills, has a servants heart. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their health history, preferences, and specific pain points
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend suitable massage techniques for ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed treatment records in compliance with health regulations and clinic standards
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to hygiene protocols and maintaining equipment sanitation
- Stay current on industry best practices, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist
- Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical or spa settings preferred not mandatory
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology related to pain management and client assessment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients
- Familiarity with occupational health standards and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Prior experience in med spa environments or wellness clinics is preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $75.00 per hour
