JOB TITLE: Receptionist/Clerical - 12 Month

QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in general office skills including but not limited to typing, letter writing, filing, and bookkeeping.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, preferably business or college training.

STATUS: Non Exempt

REPORTS TO: School Principal or Designee

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months (240 Days)

SALARY: Current Salary Schedule

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Front Desk & Communication: Greeting visitors/parents, answering/directing phone calls, and managing visitors logs.
  • Student Services: Handling student check-in/out, managing early check-outs, and maintaining attendance logs.
  • Clerical Support: Filing, typing, data entry, scanning, photocopying, and handling mail.
  • Data Management: Assisting with student registration, updating student information in systems (e.g., SIS), and maintaining school records.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Scheduling meetings and maintaining the school/office calendar.
  • Safety & Compliance: Following school board procedures, ensuring confidentiality, and monitoring building traffic.

EVALUATION:

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
