JOB DESCRIPTION: Retired Part-time Tutor (Principal Legacy Coach)
Qualifications:
- Current Alabama Teacher's Certification
- Master's Degree or higher with an endorsement in Educational Administration K-12
- Demonstrated successful administrative or supervisory experience preferred
- Demonstrated positive communication skills, both verbal and written
Essential Duties :
- Serve as a legacy coach supporting schools overall successaff
- Analyze relevant data to inform decisions for teaching and learning
- Collaborate and work with staff, students, parents, and community to ensure a high-quality educational program
- Support the accomplishment of the school's mission and vision
- Motivate and lead professional learning communities that improve teacher practice
- Support the use of technology to motivate and prepare students for the 21st century
- Provide a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning
- Support and attend school-related or extracurricular activities to enhance coaches, teachers, students, parents, and community relations
- Establish a supportive and positive relationship with students, parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors
- Partner with school leaders to improve schools and staff performance
- Perform other duties as assigned
