TITLE: PRE-K AUXILIARY TEACHER
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must possess a high school diploma
- Must possess a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or at least nine credit hours of college coursework in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from a regionally accredited institution.
STATUS : Non-Exempt
EMPLOYMENT : Nine months

SUPERVISOR : OSR Director
JOB GOALS: To assist teachers in classroom activities with students. Duties and responsibilities include providing instructional assistance and support services to teachers, students, and/or staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Required to attend a minimum of 10 hours of OSR sponsored training each year plus 10 additional hours of training offered by local or regional programs, for a total of 20 training hours.
- Assist the OSR Lead teacher with planning, preparing, and delivery of lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
- Assist with the plan for instruction by creating a daily schedule, daily lesson pans, weekly/monthly themes and lessons.
- Assist with managing student’s behavior in the classroom by establishing guidelines and adhering to the procedures established.
- Monitors morning duties of students.
- Assist with and maintain accurate and complete records of student’s progress and development.
- Follow all OSR guidelines.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Principal may assign.
