POSITION TITLE: Instructional Coach
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum B.S. Degree with certification in content area.
- Meets requirements set forth by federal regulations.
REPORTS TO:
- Superintendent or Superintendent's designee
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- See job description of TEACHER.
- Participate in SDE and local training sessions specific to the assigned coaching area.
- Identify students at-risk with specific to assigned coaching areas.
- Work with struggling and at-risk students.
- Monitor and analyze data associated with the assigned coaching area.
- Organize and lead intervention efforts within the assigned coaching area.
- Perform any other position related duties as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records.
- Provide on-going and job-embedded professional development to assigned teachers.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Salary and work year to be in accordance with the current applicable salary schedule .
EVALUATION:
- Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy of Professional Personnel.
