POSITION TITLE: Auxiliary Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must meet federal and state certification requirements
• Must have Child Development Associate Credential
• Must be able to lift, bend, and squat as assignment may require
• Must have Background, Drug, and TB Clearance

REPORTS TO:

• School Principal; Director of Federal Programs

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists students while the teacher works with special groups.
• Assists teachers in general classroom duties and responsibilities.
• Provides assistance in standardized test preparation.
• Performs any other position related duties as assigned not to exceed time limits.
• Uses an appropriate time reporting system.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Salary and work year to be according to the current approved/applicable salary schedule for aides in line with credentials and experience.

EVALUATION:

• Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
