Position Title: Cafeteria Manager I
Department or Unit: Child Nutrition Program
Reports To: Child Nutrition Program Supervisor
Supervises: Food Service Worker
Job Summary: Assists Supervisor of a school cafeteria or supervises a satellite cafeteria.
Ty pical Duties:
1. Assists in supervision of preparation and serving of food.
- Assists in supervision of storage and care of food supplies,
- Ensures that menus are planned and followed.
- Assists in supervising cleaning of kitchen, serving, storage, and dining areas.
- Ensures that cafeteria equipment is maintained in a safe and working condition.
- Maintains records of food and supplies received and used, and responsible for banking monies received or seeing that it is done.
- Plans work schedules and maintains payroll and absentee records.
- Maintains appropriate records of meals served.
- Requisitions food and supplies.
- Coordinates Child Nutrition Program with personnel in assigned school.
11 . Submits records to central office timely and with accuracy.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements.
1 . High school diploma or equivalency.
- Three years school food service or related work.
Salary : $24,446 - $36,652
