Position Summary
Fairfield City Schools is seeking a highly organized and student-centered professional to serve as the Dual Enrollment Facilitator for Grades 9–11 . This position is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and successful implementation of dual enrollment opportunities that allow students to earn both high school and college credit.
The facilitator will serve as a liaison between the district, partnering colleges/universities, students, and families to ensure students are prepared for and successful in dual enrollment coursework.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination & Implementation
- Coordinate dual enrollment opportunities for students in grades 9–11
- Ensure alignment with Alabama dual enrollment policies and graduation requirements
- Manage student enrollment, registration, and course scheduling processes
- Monitor program compliance, timelines, and documentation
Student Advisement & Support
- Identify and recruit eligible students for dual enrollment participation
- Provide academic advising, including course selection and planning
- Support students in developing college readiness skills (time management, study skills)
- Monitor student progress and provide interventions as needed
Partnership & Communication
- Serve as liaison between Fairfield City Schools and partnering colleges/universities
- Communicate program expectations, deadlines, and updates to students and families
- Collaborate with counselors, administrators, and teachers to support student success Coordinate meetings, orientations, and informational sessions
Data Monitoring & Reporting
- Track student enrollment, performance, and credit attainment
- Maintain accurate records of student participation and outcomes
- Analyze data to improve program effectiveness and access
- Provide reports to district leadership as required
Compliance & Program Integrity
- Ensure adherence to Alabama State Department of Education and postsecondary guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality of student records (FERPA compliance)
- Support equitable access to dual enrollment opportunities
Qualifications
Preferred experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
- Experience in secondary education (teaching, counseling, or administration)
- Knowledge of high school graduation requirements
Preferred:
- Experience with dual enrollment programs or college partnerships
- Familiarity with college admissions and registration processes
- Experience advising or mentoring high school students
- Strong understanding of college and career readiness standards

Compensation
Compensation based on Fairfield City Schools’ approved extended day/summer pay scale: $30/hr.Application Process
