About the Job

We’re hiring experienced Service Technicians/Sign Installers to join our Alabama Sign & Lighting team (a YESCO franchise). You’ll diagnose, repair, and retrofit electrical signs and lighting for commercial clients throughout the Huntsville area. We are looking for an independent self-starter who can manage their own daily workload while stepping up as a strong team leader to guide our service crew. If you’re dependable, professional, and want steady work with growth opportunities, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot & repair illuminated signs and lighting systems
• Diagnose electrical issues and ensure safe operation
• Drive and maintain a company service vehicle (parts stocked)
• Perform preventative maintenance & retrofits
• Provide professional, friendly service to our customers

What You’ll Need

• 2 years of electrical sign/lighting experience with a heavy emphasis on crew leadership to manage our team (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Comfortable using mobile apps and service software
• Ability to lift 50 lbs & work outdoors at heights
• Strong troubleshooting skills & customer service focus
• Personal Tools (specialty tools are provided on a job basis)
• Electrical License: Preferred, but not required (candidates holding a valid license are eligible for higher starting pay)

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift
• Occasional emergency service calls
