What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Biller and Front Office position at ALABAMA RETINA?
The position requires strong telephone and customer service skills; experience with medical insurance collections to include insurance follow up/collections; experience dealing with patient accounts/accounts receivable; knowledge of BCBS, Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance; and excellent computer skills.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to read and write proficiently. Good math skills. Must have positive attitude. Previous third party or healthcare billing experience preferred. Strong computer skills required.

At least 1 year of experience working in medical clinic preferred
Proficient computer skills including experience with data entry/EMR and using Microsoft Word and Excel
