We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Delivery Driver to safely deliver prescriptions and medical supplies while representing our pharmacy with professionalism and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Deliver prescription medications and pharmacy products to patients in a safe and timely manner.
- Verify patient identity and obtain required delivery signatures.
- Handle medications securely and maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Collect payments when necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate with pharmacy staff regarding delivery schedules or patient concerns.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report any maintenance issues.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during every delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Alabama driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Monday–Friday
- Daytime hours
- Flexible schedule available
Compensation
- $17.00 per hour
