The Talent Acquisition Partner role will be responsible for providing the highest level of recruiting services to AIDB’s leaders. Under the leader’s supervision, the Talent Acquisition team will deliver high-quality professional candidates to support our main campus and regional centers. The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies for full life-cycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and strategic vendors.

You will play a vital role to ensure that AIDB’s culture of inclusion is reinforced and that employees feel connected, recognized, and proud to be a part of our organization. This will be accomplished by building an efficient and consistent hiring process from start to finish. This will also include industry best practices in pre-screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university, or five years of experience in a position that requires a high level of attention to detail.
· Experience attending job fairs, conferences, trade shows, and other events for the purpose of recruiting talent.
· Experience screening candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, performing phone screenings.
· Experience developing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
· Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations
· Must exhibit exceptional oral and written communication skills, including experience with public speaking and presentations.
· Must have attention to detail.
· Proven ability to train business partners and staff on the latest employment laws and trends around recruiting efforts.
· Ability to multitask, manage multiple constituents, and multiple deadlines.
· Project management experience leading and effectively delivering large-scale projects.
· Experience working with executive leadership.
· Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, and good judgment.
· Effective interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships.
· Must have experience in recruiting top talent utilizing a social media platform and building partnerships with online career sites.
· Possess advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
· A willingness to learn and understand methodologies used to educate individuals who are Deaf, Blind, and DeafBlind.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 3 years of full life cycle recruiting for large to mid-size organizations, including facilitation interviews, managing the selection process, and extending offers.
· 3 years of experience partnering with organizational leaders to attract talent and working with ambiguity.
· Demonstrated success in developing and executing recruiting sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent.
· Subject matter expertise in executing internal and external recruitment solutions, using appropriate media, such as job portals/boards, social media, professional affiliation sites, and job centers.
· Experience working with colleges and universities to build a continual pipeline for talent.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
· Will represent AIDB at local and state-wide career fairs and educational conferences.
· Screen all candidates to ensure that they meet basic requirements for positions.
· Manage the interviewing process, including facilitating committees and conducting interviews.
· Verify employment for new hires.
· Check references.
· Prepare weekly reports to the Chief of Human Resources and Human Resources Partners on all open positions.
· Send out quarterly newsletters to AIDB staff with updates and news from all campuses.
· Train managers on the hiring process.
· Administer wellness clinics.
· Review opportunities to add open positions to appropriate job boards.
· Train with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator and be the backup for the position.
· Must be able to travel by car 50% annually (some occasions overnight).
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· A sign language proficiency level of SURVIVAL according to the AIDB evaluation system must be obtained within the first thirty-six (36) months of employment.
· Upon offer of employment, the applicant must submit to a fingerprint background check at an agency designated and paid by AIDB
SALARY: $50,526 - $67,399 Scale PI Rank 50 (260 days)

This position is paid bi-weekly.
