We are a patient-centered private optometry practice located in Hoover, AL. You will be paid for on the job training to become an optometric technician in a fun and friendly environment. Continued education is highly encouraged and reimbursed with a passing score towards a certification in the optometric field. Our optometric technician will be responsible for preparing patients to see the doctor by taking medical histories, special testing, ensuring the exam equipment is cleaned and set, and working closely with the doctor to create an excellent patient experience. Additional tasks include scheduling appointments, utilizing patient communication platforms, and contact lens inventory.
