The Home Care Services Nurse is a permanent, full-time position with the Alabama Department of Public Health. This position would be based in Houston County. This is professional nursing work in a home care program.
Responsibilities:
- Complete and submit all patient care documentation and departmental documentation in a timely manner.
- Communicate professionally and appropriately with all internal and external clients, ensuring all information is shared accurately, timely, and appropriately.
- Complete on call assignments according to agency and program policy, providing 24 hour coverage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing.
OR
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing or diploma in Nursing and
- Two years of professional nursing experience.
