As we expand our reach into the Memphis market, we’re seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to build and grow our customer base in Memphis, TN and the surrounding regions.
Position Summary
The Outside Sales Representative will manage and develop business opportunities within the Greater Memphis area. This role focuses on building relationships with construction professionals, identifying customer needs, and providing solutions that support successful projects. The ideal candidate is motivated, independent, and ready to represent a growing leader in the construction supply industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and project managers throughout Memphis and surrounding areas
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to assess customer needs and present product solutions
- Prospect new accounts and grow existing customer relationships
- Prepare and present quotes, bids, and tailored proposals
- Partner with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing, deliveries, and customer support
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, industry developments, and competitor offerings
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions as needed
- Meet or exceed sales goals, territory targets, and performance expectations
Qualifications
- Prior outside sales experience; construction supply or building materials background is a strong plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing a multi-city territory
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable visiting jobsites, warehouses, and industrial environments
- Strong time-management and problem-solving abilities
