The Senior Pastor is to be called by God to Follow Christ in a life of discipleship, utilizing the gifts of the Holy Spirit to lead the local church to be faithful and fruitful in worship, service, and witness. The Senior Pastor is responsible to the church to proclaim the gospel of Jesus and to teach the Biblical revelation; to engage in acts of pastoral care and outreach; to provide administrative oversight in accordance with the ASBC By-Laws in all areas of church life, and to lead the church ministerial staff.
