What are the responsibilities and job description for the Minister of Youth position at Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions?
The youth minister is responsible for leading and developing the church's student ministry. The minister will disciple students, equip volunteers, and work to carry out the church's overall vision. The youth minister will report directly to the Senior Pastor and work in cooperation with the church staff and deacons. The youth minister will lead and develop a Christ-centered youth ministry that includes weekly youth gatherings, Bible Studies, and discipleship groups. The youth minister will teach biblical truth and encourage spiritual growth in students. The youth minister will work with the youth committee to organize events such as camps, retreats, and activities.
