This individual is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all musical components of worship services and special programs to ensure music reflects the church’s traditions and glorifies God.

Responsibilities
– Lead and plan Sunday worship services and special services
– Collaborate with the Pastor, Children’s Department Leaders, musicians, and video/audio team in planning and coordinating services.
– Plan weekly worship services that align music with the sermon message.
– Oversee all aspects of the worship ministry, including rehearsals, service preparation, special music lineup, and choir practice
– Plan/coordinate with audio/visual to insure sound, and streaming equipment are operational and effective for services
– Work within the music ministry budget to maintain the music library and needs
– Research, select, and organize music for services and performances
– Include blended music for worship (new and old)
Qualifications
– A clear testimony of salvation and a calling to serve as a Minister of Music
– Demonstrated ability to lead congregational worship and build effective ministry teams
– Strong organizational and communication skills
– Love for music and building God’s word with music to children, youth, and adults
– Ability to read music
