What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Minister position at Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions?
Green Valley Church is in search of a Children's Minister to lead in one of the fastest growing areas of the church. Green Valley is a staff-led, growing church of 400 in weekly worship attendance. Families matter at GV and ministry to children and their parents are a high priority. The Children’s Minister: -Provides energy, vision, leadership, and direction for our Children’s Ministry.
Engages in the greater mission of the church as member of the family ministries staff.
Provides clarity and direction regarding the discipleship and development of age related ministries to Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Provides training and support all children's volunteers.
Oversees and maintains a safe, secure, and loving environment for all children.
Manages the children’s ministry budget and resources each year making recommendations that will grow the ministry and its effectiveness.
Communicates, serves, and equips parents, volunteers, and church leadership.
Guides in all things Children’s ministry that assists in raising Godly boys and girls to make a difference for the Kingdom in their schools, families, and all activities of life.
