Education and Experience Requirements:
Associates degree or equivalent experience plus a minimum of seven (7) years of experience. A good understanding of accounting principles, an understanding of the management of loan processing procedures, knowledge of loan documentation and title/trust requirements, excellent oral and written communication, and computer literacy. It is beneficial if applicants are detail-oriented. Knowledge of title insurance is preferred.
Essential Functions:
Supervises the Loan Processing staff and ensures the accuracy and completeness of all closing documents. Supports management in developing policies, systems, and procedures while providing guidance to loan officers and branch staff on loan documentation requirements. Organizes and prepares all materials needed for loan closings, verifies compliance with regulations and association policies, and coordinates closing logistics. Reviews applications, collateral records, title work, and post-closing documents to ensure accuracy, proper execution, and regulatory compliance. Processes UCC filings, prepares required disclosures, and verifies loan proceeds and settlement details.
At the discretion of Alabama Ag Credit, position may be offered at alternate titles and other business experience may be considered relevant.
