Summary:
Monitor and supervise the pool facilities, enforcing policies and procedures.
Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce pool rules and policies
- Keep facility clean and organized
- Know facility's emergency action plan, and how to engage it
- Perform lifesaving duties when needed
- Answer member questions and follow up on requests
- Assist with the opening and closing the pool as needed
- Act as a resources and service person for participants
- Assist in examining facility for safety hazards
- Aid participants with injuries by providing First Aid and CPR, and document all injuries and/or issues properly
- Attend all scheduled meetings
- Maintain a good level of physical fitness
- Perform other duties as assigned
Typical Qualifications
Minimum Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.):
- Currently certified as a lifeguard with a Nationally Recognized association and currently CPR, First Aid and AED certified
- Must be able to pass a swim test and have a good level of physical fitness
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills, as well as quality people skills
- Possess good leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Salary : $20,000 - $40,000
