Summary:
The Coordinator of Leadership & Student Support Programs is responsible for designing, implementing, and assessing leadership development opportunities and support services that contribute to the holistic development and success of undergraduate and international students. This position leads signature programs such as Bulldogs LEAD and Bulldog Parent University, manages resources like the Career Closet, serves as the primary advisor for Miss ISA and liaison to the International Student Association (ISA), and assists with compliance as an alternate Designated School Official (DSO) and Responsible Officer (RO) for international student programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership Development:
- Coordinate the Bulldogs LEAD program and other leadership education workshops to enhance students' leadership competencies, career readiness, and personal development.
- Design and implement engagement tracking tools to monitor leadership involvement and outcomes across student cohorts.
Parent & Family Engagement:
- Lead the planning, execution, and assessment of Bulldog Parent University and other parent and family outreach initiatives to strengthen university-family partnerships.
Student Resource Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and promotion of the Career Closet, ensuring student access to professional attire for interviews, internships, and other opportunities.
International Student Support:
- Advise Miss ISA and serve as liaison to the International Student Association (ISA), providing guidance for cultural programming and community-building efforts.
- Serve as the Alternate DSO and Responsible Officer, assisting the office in maintaining compliance with federal regulations related to international student and exchange visitor programs.
Program Development & Assessment:
- Assist in developing, promoting, and evaluating new initiatives that foster leadership, diversity, and intercultural competency among the student body.
- Collaborate with university partners to integrate leadership and support services into broader student success efforts.
Administrative & Operational Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of student participation, event assessments, and program budgets.
- Prepare reports and presentations demonstrating program impact and alignment with divisional goals.
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Participate in office, division, and campus committees.
- Assist with late-night, weekend, and special event programming as needed.
Typical Qualifications
Minimum Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.):
- Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred
- One to three years related work experience; preferably in a university setting
- Demonstrated understanding of, and a commitment to the university mission and purpose; teaching and learning; high academic standards; and student success
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends as needed

- Knowledge and experience using integrated software systems and Microsoft applications (with proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint presentation)

Work Environment:

- Work may require sitting, near vision use for reading and computer use, lifting, stooping, bending, stretching, walking, standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and other physical exertion
- Requires some evening and weekend hours to support student events and activities.
