George Higginson is partnered with a high-growth, global biopharmaceutical company that is entering a pivotal phase of expansion. With a marketed product already approved and a rapidly advancing pipeline across Hematology and Oncology, the business is now building out its U.S. commercial footprint to support long-term growth and innovation.
This is a key leadership hire within the U.S. commercial organization. As a Regional Business Director, you will:
- Lead, build, and develop a high-performing oncology sales team
- Play a critical role in a major product launch
- Drive regional strategy across a complex and high-value customer base
- Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams to maximize impact
- This is not just a “manage the team” role — it’s a hands-on, strategic leadership position where you will shape execution, culture, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build & lead a team of top-tier oncology sales professionals
- Develop and execute regional business plans aligned to launch strategy
- Engage with key stakeholders including hematologists, oncologists, IDNs, hospitals, and formulary committees
- Drive market adoption and demand through strong clinical and commercial execution
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Use data, insights, and CRM tools to optimize performance and territory strategy
- Coach, develop, and elevate your team — building future leaders within the organization
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech with at least 5 years in sales leadership roles.
- At least 5 years in oncology or hem-oncology (hem-oncology preferred)
- Experience leading teams through product launches or high-growth phases
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance in competitive markets
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with Market Access, Medical, and Commercial teams
- A true leader. Someone who can inspire, challenge and elevate a team.
