Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven, energetic, and self-motivated Sales Representative to manage and grow a customer base in Toledo, Ohio and surrounding areas. This role includes working with existing accounts, prospecting and developing new business, and actively promoting the AL Peake brand. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives both independently and as part of a team, is passionate about service, and excited to represent a company with a strong reputation and legacy.
This is a full-time position that offers base pay commission with strong growth potential. It involves regional travel up to 30 miles from the home base and may require non-traditional work hours based on customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow relationships with current customers and accounts.
- Actively prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities within assigned territory.
- Build and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.
- Communicate regularly with the accounts receivable team regarding customer balances, payments, and credits.
- Analyze customer and sales data to make informed decisions and service improvements.
- Attend regular sales team meetings and training to support growth and alignment with company goals.
- Represent AL Peake & Sons with professionalism, positivity, and a passion for foodservice.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, restaurant/hospitality management, or customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient with digital tools including tablets, smartphones, Google Workspace (G Suite), and CRM/sales systems.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Self-disciplined, organized, and adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not required.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
