We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and process outbound shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 and MRPs.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and organize inventory efficiently.
- Ensure proper packaging of products for safe transportation, adhering to company standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct order picking and packing activities with accuracy using RF scanners and other scanning tools to fulfill e-commerce orders.
- Manage shipping & receiving documentation, verify trade compliance, and ensure adherence to international trade regulations when applicable.
- Coordinate with warehouse distribution teams to optimize stock levels, perform stock rotations, and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse safety protocols during load & unload operations while adhering to OSHA standards.
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of shipping logistics, order fulfillment, and inventory management.
- Valid forklift certification along with experience operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRP platforms for order processing.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating weights or volumes accurately.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, packaging standards, and international trade regulations is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
