Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Hybrid (4 days a week Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Rate Range: Upto $80/hr on W2
Work Authorization: GC, USC, All valid EADs except H1B, OPT, CPT
Must Have:
- Multi-state payroll processing and compliance
- Payroll systems: Workday, UKG/Kronos, ADP
- Payroll audits, reconciliations, and GL validation
- Payroll tax regulations and wage and hour compliance
- Advanced Excel (large dataset analysis)
Responsibilities:
- Lead payroll audits, reconciliations, and validation of payroll, tax, and GL data
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Support SOX and external audits with required documentation
- Drive payroll process improvements and automation initiatives
- Support system configuration, testing, and integrations across payroll platforms
- Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, and Legal on payroll-related initiatives
- Prepare payroll reports, analyze variances, and present insights to leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years payroll experience in large, multi-state environment
- Strong experience with payroll systems and integrations
- Deep understanding of payroll compliance and internal controls
- Experience analyzing large datasets and resolving discrepancies
Nice to Have:
- CPP certification
- Experience with international payroll
- Exposure to union or labor agreement payroll rules
