Must Have:
- Python
- Django or similar Python web frameworks
- React or similar front-end frameworks
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- SQL
- AWS (cloud infrastructure, deployment, monitoring)
- PostgreSQL and/or Snowflake
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy new features for a web-based analytic platform supporting internal decision-makers.
- Build full-stack applications with cloud-hosted, scalable, and secure architecture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and DevOps teams.
- Lead and mentor engineers and drive best practices in full-stack development.
- Translate complex data workflows and science models into user-friendly front-end experiences.
- Draft wireframes, mockups, and application workflows that meet business requirements.
- Optimize application performance and reliability for large-scale datasets.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and application security within an enterprise environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, or equivalent STEM field.
- 5 years of experience in software development with hands-on expertise in Python.
- 3 years of experience with front-end development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Proficiency in Django (or similar) and React (or similar) frameworks.
- Experience with relational and cloud data platforms (PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
- Experience in designing secure, scalable web platforms hosted on AWS.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Next.js, GitLab CI/CD, and UI/UX design leadership.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field is a plus.
