We are seeking a DataStage/ETL Developer with 5 years experience to design, develop, and support data integration solutions in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have strong DataStage, Unix/Shell scripting, SQL, and database experience, along with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance ETL solutions using DataStage 11.x.
- Analyze and resolve data, application, and production issues through root-cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain DataStage ETL jobs and Unix/Shell scripts.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve application stability.
- Participate in Agile requirements, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Support production applications and resolve defects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Contribute to improvements in development tools, processes, and delivery practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of DataStage/ETL development experience, preferably DataStage 11.7 .
- Strong Unix/Shell scripting and SQL skills.
- Experience with DB2, Sybase, and/or Oracle.
- Experience with Control-M, Jira, and Bitbucket.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and development skills.
- Experience with Agile and SDLC methodologies.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
