Role: Java Developer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA(Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide technical leadership to development teams. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications while ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Java 8 , Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable microservices and integrate them with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring best practices, code quality, and timely issue resolution.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and work extensively with JPA/Hibernate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, testers, and product owners to define technical requirements and solutions.
- Work with Git, GitHub, or other distributed version control systems for code management.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose creative, efficient solutions.
- Apply strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, coding standards, and multithreading concepts.
- Work on backend systems involving Oracle and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Leverage knowledge of AWS cloud services in application development and deployment.
- Remove team blockers proactively and ensure smooth progress across development tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot development.
- 2 years of experience as a Technical Lead.
- Strong experience building Java Microservices using Java 8/11, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Proficiency with REST APIs, JPA, Hibernate, and backend development.
- Experience with Oracle databases and NoSQL technologies (e.g., MongoDB).
- Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, including Collections, Threads, and design concepts.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git/GitHub.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong team collaboration skills and the ability to lead and mentor developers.
