Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead and oversee the quality assurance and control processes within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems. This role is vital in maintaining product excellence, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems aligned with AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP, and other relevant standards.
- Lead quality audits to evaluate compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Oversee quality control and quality inspection activities to ensure products meet specified standards.
- Manage QA/QC processes throughout the manufacturing cycle, including incoming materials, in-process production, and final product release.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on project management initiatives aimed at process improvements and risk mitigation.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Provide training on quality systems, policies, and procedures to staff at all levels.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality metrics and report findings to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies' standards by staying current on updates related to FDA regulations, ISO standards, and industry best practices.
- Facilitate continuous improvement efforts by analyzing data trends and implementing strategic quality initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong background in quality assurance, quality control, and quality management systems.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards
- Demonstrated ability to conduct effective quality audits and inspections.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed data analysis for process improvements.
- Excellent project management skills to lead cross-functional teams on quality initiatives.
- Exceptional communication skills for training, reporting, and collaboration across departments.
