The Calhoun County Phoenix is seeking a driven Advertising Manager / Sales Executive to lead and grow advertising sales across our print and digital platforms. This role is focused on building relationships with local and regional businesses and helping them reach readers through effective, results-driven advertising.
The primary responsibility of this position is selling advertising in the Calhoun County Phoenix, including print, digital, and integrated marketing opportunities. This is a goal-oriented role with clear sales targets and a commission-based compensation structure.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sell print and digital advertising to businesses throughout Calhoun County and surrounding markets
- Develop and manage a pipeline of new and existing advertising clients
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
- Educate advertisers on the value of local newspaper and digital marketing
- Create customized advertising solutions tailored to each client's needs and budget
- Maintain strong relationships with current advertisers through regular communication
- Track sales activity, proposals, and follow-ups
- Coordinate with the internal design and production team to ensure ad accuracy and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Sales, marketing, or advertising experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Organized, goal-driven, and results-oriented
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with digital advertising is a plus
Compensation:
