Summary
The Psychometrist administers and scores psychological and neuropsychological tests.
Responsibilities
- Administers and scores psychological and neuropsychological tests.
- Conduct structured interviews.
- Assesses limitations in validity-reliability of test-interview findings.
- Collaborates with clinicians, internal and external groups regarding individual patients as identified.
- Coordinate service testing schedule.
- Organizes, maintains, and orders tests and test supplies
- Codes, enters and maintains clinical data in database.
- Prepares periodic reports summarizing specific clinical data as requested.
- Assist in the training of psychology-neuropsychology trainees, interns, and fellows.
- Completes position duties with the guidance of the clinical manager and supervision of the staff neuropsychologist.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psych/ social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age.
- Other duties as required.
Technical Expertise
- Experience in administering and scoring psychological tests/measures is preferred.
- Experience in administering and scoring neuropsychological tests is preferred.
- Experience working with children/adolescents is preferred.
- Experience with testing techniques is preferred.
- Experience working with all levels within an organization is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in psychology or related science is required. Master's degree is preferred.
- Certification: Specialty in Psychometry certification is preferred.
- Years of relevant experience: none required. up to two years is preferred
