Essential DutiesConstruction Leadership & Project Oversight

  • Provide strategic leadership for all construction, new-store development, renovation, and facility maintenance projects.
  • Conduct onsite visits to monitor project progress and resolve construction-related issues.
  • Perform site surveys to determine the feasibility of potential locations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the construction team while fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Handle requests from store locations involving equipment, facility needs, or construction tasks.
  • Review and approve contracts with various contractors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and vendors, consolidating feedback from multiple departments.
  • Report regularly to executive leadership regarding project status, risks, and strategic recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement, development processes, and operational workflow.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends to identify new opportunities and innovative methods.

Vendor & Internal Coordination

  • Negotiate and manage contracts while balancing company interests and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure construction and facilities work aligns with company goals.
  • Coordinate communication across departments involved in construction, design, and operations.

Non-Essential Duties

  • Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism in the workplace.
  • Report irregular or critical issues to senior management promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all company policies.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.

Working Hours

9:00am–6:00pm (Monday–Friday)

QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or business management preferred (not required).
  • 7 years of experience in construction or facilities management, including 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, multi-site projects on time and within budget.

Language Skills

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Japanese and/or Spanish proficiency is advantageous.

Practical & Technical Skills

  • Excellent organization, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyze numbers related to budgeting and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to read architectural plans (strong plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience using AutoCAD 2D is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $108,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
