Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage large and/or multiple projects with significant impact on our business processes and technology across the firm. The role involves influencing strategic direction and developing tactical plans, providing comprehensive solutions to complex problems, and having extensive contact with internal clients and the business. The candidate will lead projects from proposal and requirements definition to planning and implementation, leveraging broad and extensive input from industry and business unit subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary investigation for project requests, reviewing requirements and specifications, and testing support and training plans for alignment with organizational priorities.
- Provide a proactive interface between project stakeholders and senior management, ensuring business requirements and delivery are accurate and complete.
- Identify, define, and document complex business and technical requirements, processes, and deliverables.
- Develop, prepare, and present detailed project plans including staffing, cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
- Perform project risk assessments, including identifying key risks, providing mitigation strategies, and assigning contingency plans.
- Expertise in Project Management and enterprise implementation.
- Proficiency in strategic planning and business analysis.
- Strong leadership and change management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles of banking, finance, and securities industry operations preferred.
This position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field, with 9-12 years of relevant experience, including strategic planning, applications development, and project management. PMP or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
