Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the successful delivery of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams and external vendors across metering, communications, IT, and field operations. A key focus will be managing risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and effectively communicating project status to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of AMI projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies.
- Coordinate efforts across IT, Operations, Meter Services, Customer Operations, Regulatory, and external vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of contractually obligated components and services.
- Identify, assess, and actively manage program and project risks, ensuring alignment with utility standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver clear project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to diverse audiences.
Must-Have Skills:
- Superior Communication & Stakeholder Management.
- Proven Planning & Execution (Scope, Schedule, Budget) capabilities.
- Strong Risk & Issue Management experience.
Domain/Industry Experience:
Utility or Smart Grid Program Experience highly preferred.
