Job Summary:
This role involves assembling and testing robotic systems, ensuring all components meet strict quality and design specifications. You will collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on design for assembly and maintain build schedules. The position requires meticulous attention to detail in both mechanical and electrical assembly processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble robotic systems and subassemblies according to technical drawings and instructions.
- Conduct in-process quality inspections and document any build deviations.
- Perform mechanical and electrical assemblies with precision using various tools.
- Support firmware and software integration by ensuring hardware readiness.
- Collaborate with engineers to provide feedback on design for assembly.
- 3 years of hands-on mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience.
- Proficiency in using common assembly tools like torque wrenches and hand tools.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and 3D CAD models.
