Key Responsibilities
- Support the construction, installation, debugging, and startup of manufacturing equipment and automated systems.
- Provide hands-on electrical engineering support during equipment installation and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot electrical and automation systems on the manufacturing floor.
- Supervise engineering technicians, maintenance personnel, and contractors during equipment installation and startup.
- Modify electrical designs, documentation, installation checklists, and machine specifications.
- Assist with PLC programming, industrial controls, and equipment integration.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA70) throughout project execution.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Process, and IT teams to deliver successful projects.
Required Qualifications
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
✔ Experience with 480VAC and below power systems
✔ Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics
✔ Hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial equipment
✔ Experience working in manufacturing or construction environments
✔ Strong communication and project coordination skills

- AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical
- PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, B&R)
- Motion Control Systems
- SCADA/HMI Development
- PID Control

Travel
✈️ Travel is required to Corning manufacturing facilities across North Carolina (Concord, Winston-Salem, Hickory, Newton, and Wilmington) and international sites in India, China, and Europe. During deployment phases, travel may be full-time.
