Location: Sunnyvale, CA ( 3 days onsite) - Need local only

 

 Job Description

The IS&T User Experience team seeks a UX Researcher to conduct user studies to support internal enterprise products in the People (HR) space. The UX researcher will work closely with product teams and track leads to define clear research objectives, develop a comprehensive test plan, and moderate user sessions. They will be responsible for delivering actionable insights and recommendations through detailed reports tailored to the specific needs of the project. The ideal candidate should have experience in drafting research plans, conducting discovery research, design concept testing, and usability testing. They should also be proficient in measuring success metrics and evaluating research outcomes. Strong writing and communication skills are essential for effectively conveying research findings.

Qualifications:

Experience

  • Mid-level researcher (3-5 years of conducting UX research)
  • Proven track record of planning and running research, collaborating with other teams to uncover insights
  • Experience in qualitative research methods (e.g. in-depth interviews, concept testing, lab & remote usability testing)
  • Some experience in quantitative research methods (e.g. data analysis, success metrics, and surveying)
  • Experience in enterprise application product development is a plus
  • Required soft skills: self-starter, good communication time management, proactive attitude, team-oriented, ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly, ability to learn new products quickly and work on multiple work-streams, ability to build rapport with multiple cross-functional partners and track leads   

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with track leads to define research goals
  • Developing a research approach and detailed study plan in collaboration with track leads
  • Writing research materials with little oversight, including plans, scripts and reports 
  • Facilitating research sessions and analyzing/synthesizing study data
