Hi,
Akkodis is seeking a Test Engineer for an Aviation/Aerospace company located in Greenville, SC. In this position you will support new product and technology testing as part of the Component & Development Test Team. Products and technologies tested include heavy-duty gas turbines, aeroderivative gas turbines, generators, and accessories. Tests are conducted in the field and at test stands globally.
Pay Range: $40-$48/HR. Contract Position to start! Travel yearly up to 30%
Test Engineer job responsibilities:
- Design and implement state-of-the-art mechanical, electrical, and optical measurement sensors
- Develop signal delivery methods to data acquisition systems
- Prepare and support design reviews and test readiness reviews, and participate in the engineering tollgate process
- Support combined test teams in scoping, test program planning, and execution to achieve program objectives, with a focus on gas turbines
- Lead and coordinate with design engineering, manufacturing, field services, and customers to ensure tests are planned and executed flawlessly
- Oversee component hardware modifications and integration into the test article assembly process
