Job Title: IQA Inspector Jr.
Location: Westfield, IN 46074-Onsite
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $22/hr. to $24/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Position Summary
The IQA Inspector Jr. is responsible for inspecting incoming materials and sub-assemblies to ensure they meet required drawings and specifications. This includes mechanical, chemical, printed materials, and potential bio-hazard components. The role supports quality compliance and works closely with engineering and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming commodities and sub-assemblies for compliance with drawings and specifications
- Perform inspections on mechanical, chemical, printed, and bio-hazard components
- Use Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for inspection activities
- Interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) drawings
- Conduct functional testing as per component drawings or test instructions
- Work in compliance with Company safety procedures and cGMP guidelines
- Collaborate with engineers on new product development and non-conformance issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure traceability of all inspected parts
- Communicate quality issues, ideas, and solutions effectively (written & verbal)
- Follow safety guidelines and use proper safety equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Ensure all job-related documentation is accurate and up to date
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma required
- Experience: 0–2 years
Work Environment
- Work is performed under close supervision
- Routine tasks following standardized procedures
- Interaction with internal teams and external visitors (e.g., tours)
