Business Intelligence Analyst

Akkodis is working with an exciting client in the healthcare space that is looking to add a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to their team to help with data visualization and insights solutions within their business. In this role, you will work closely with several different business units and leverage tools like Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, Excel and others.

This role will be structured as a contract-to-hire based out of our clients facility in the Saginaw area. They do offer a flexible schedule but do expect someone will need to come into the office regularly, at least early on into this role. Target compensation for this role is somewhere between $40.00 - $44.00 per hour, depending on experience. For the contract portion, Akkodis does offer benefits like medical, dental, vision insurance, some 401k match and others. Upon conversion to full-time employment after about 6 months, you would be eligible for all of our clients benefits.

Job Responsibilities for the Business Intelligence Analyst:

• Gather data from multiple sources, including internal databases, external systems, and industry benchmarks.
• Clean, organize, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform in-depth analysis of data (financial, operational..etc) to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies, generating regular and ad-hoc reports for executives, department heads, and staff.
• Customize reports and analyses to meet the specific needs of finance and operations stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and visually compelling data presentations that effectively communicate complex information and insights.
• Utilize advanced data visualization techniques to present key performance indicators (KPIs) related to resource utilization, and financial metrics in a clear and actionable manner.

Job Qualifications for the Business Intelligence Analyst:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, Health Administration, Public Health, Data Science, Informatics.
• Three or more years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or performance improvement, with a strong understanding of workflows, operational processes, and data sources.
• Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, or similar platforms.

Compensation: $40.00 to 44.00 per hour, W2
