What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerospace Structural/FEA Analyst position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is recruitng for an Aerospace Structural/FEA Analyst for an aerospace manufacutrer in the St. George, UT area. This is a remote/hybrid contract to hire position with a pay range of $45 an hour to $65 an hour depending on experience, education and location. The Aerospace Structural/Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Analyst provides analytical modeling capabilities to the systems engineering team by leading structural static and dynamic and fatigue analysis to meet component, system, and customer requirements.
- Assisting the System Engineer with developing the program’s system architecture and technical approach. This can include structural analysis and recommendations for mounting interfaces.
- Identify and manage program’s technical risks as it pertains to structural requirements.
- Serve as technical lead for structural modeling and analysis, provide clear objectives that are measurable and attainable, and coordinate modeling and analysis activities with other engineering functional groups.
- Deep expertise in structural analysis including static and dynamic analysis for structural and electronic components such as:
- Proof and burst pressure static analysis
- Dynamic analysis for vibration
- Dynamic analysis for operational and crash shock
- Thermal expansion analysis
- Fatigue analysis
- PCBA solder joint fatigue analysis (Steinberg Fatigue analysis)
- Experience with Vapor Cycle Systems (VCS), Liquid Cooling Systems (LCS) and/or Air Cycle Systems (ACS)
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Stress Engineer or related field
5 to 10 years experience in aerospace structural/FEA analysis.
Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
