We’re seeking an experienced Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality and compliance initiatives in a railroad manufacturing and maintenance environment. This role drives data‑driven quality improvements and ensures compliance with AAR, FRA, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Perform process and product audits aligned to QA metrics
- Ensure compliance with AAR (M‑1003), FRA, and Interchange Rules
- Partner cross‑functionally to resolve quality issues
- Provide technical leadership to internal teams and suppliers
- Support fabrication sales, design reviews, and customer requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 12 years of railroad QA/QC experience
- Strong audit, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work in industrial/railroad environments (climb in/under railcars)
