Production Tech

Akkodis is seeking a Production Tech for a Contract with a client in Plymouth, MN. You will be responsible for constructing and repairing manufacturing fixtures and automated equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies.

Note: Shift: 7 am to 3 pm

Rate Range: $38/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Production Tech Job Responsibilities Include

• Construct and repair manufacturing fixtures and automated equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies.
• Layout and wire electrical control panels and install electronic components using soldering equipment and hand tools.
• Assemble pneumatic circuits and mechanical assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, control panel wiring, and associated devices to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with engineers and machinists to resolve assembly issues and meet project schedules.
• Verify dimensions and quality of parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in automation equipment assembly and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting control panel wiring and associated devices across voltage ranges (5VDC to 480VAC).

Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
