Akkodis is seeking an Integration Consultant for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA/Raleigh, NC. You will drive API and SDK integration projects, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity across platforms.
Rate Range: $51/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Integration Consultant Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $51.00 to $53.00 per hour

Integration Consultant Job Responsibilities Include
- Design and implement API and SDK integrations to enable seamless connectivity between systems and applications.
- Develop and maintain integration solutions using REST APIs, API Gateways, and event streaming technologies like Kafka.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and guide them through technical integration tasks.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting using tools such as Postman and curl to ensure smooth integration workflows.
- Ensure secure authentication and authorization by implementing OAuth2-style protocols and best practices.
- Document integration processes and provide technical guidance to stakeholders for ongoing support and improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (master’s preferred).
- 6–8 years of experience in software engineering and system integration, with strong API development expertise.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java preferred) and solid understanding of REST APIs, API Gateways, and OAuth2 authentication.
- Hands-on experience with event streaming technologies (Kafka) and integration tools such as Postman and curl, along with strong debugging skills.
