Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract with a client in Yorklyn, DE. You will drive data engineering initiatives using Azure Databricks and Delta Lake to build and optimize data pipelines for retail supply chain processes.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.00 per hour

Functional Consultant Job Responsibilities Include
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Delta Lake for large-scale data processing.
- Implement and maintain Databricks SQL solutions to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Integrate EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes within data workflows to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Collaborate with retail and supply chain teams to deliver data-driven solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and adherence to best practices in cloud-based data engineering.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines and provide ongoing support for production environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8–10 years of experience in data engineering and analytics with strong expertise in Azure Databricks.
- Hands-on experience with Delta Lake and Databricks SQL for building and optimizing data pipelines.
- Solid understanding of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes and retail supply chain domain knowledge.
