Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Schaumburg, IL. The candidate will design and deliver a GenAI‑enabled test automation platform that generates scalable API and UI tests directly from code and requirements.

Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Design and build a GenAI‑enabled test automation solution that generates API and UI test cases from requirements, repositories, and APIs.
• Implement, manage, and enhance the in‑house GenQA tool leveraging LLMs to enable intelligent, automated quality assurance.
• Develop and maintain scalable Selenium‑based automation frameworks supporting large‑scale UI and API test generation.
• Build and maintain backend orchestration services using Node.js/Nest.js for test generation, execution, and result aggregation.
• Integrate automation workflows with GitHub APIs and CI/CD pipelines to enable testing directly from source‑code driven processes.
• Optimize automation execution for high performance, scalability, and low latency while collaborating closely with developers and QA stakeholders.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in test automation, quality engineering, or software development.
• Practical experience building and maintaining GenAI/LLM‑enabled automation frameworks using Selenium, Node.js/Nest.js, and modern QA tools.
• Strong exposure to CI/CD pipelines and GitHub integrations, with the ability to optimize automated testing solutions for scalability, performance, and reliability.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
