Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Schaumburg, IL(Hybrid). You will manage Oracle E-Business Suite administration, patching, and performance tuning to ensure system reliability and scalability.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Administer and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform patching, upgrades, and cloning activities across multiple Oracle environments.
• Monitor and tune database performance, addressing bottlenecks and optimizing system efficiency.
• Manage Oracle Exadata environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical business data.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues and support deployments.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s preferred).
• 6–8 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA, including E-Business Suite administration and performance tuning.
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle Exadata environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Strong experience in patching, upgrades, and database performance optimization within large enterprise environments.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
