Data Engineering Engineer 3

Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineering Engineer 3 for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is focused on building reliable, scalable data platforms that transform large volumes of data into actionable insights.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Engineering Engineer 3 Job Responsibilities Include

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets.
• Develop and optimize data models, warehouses, lakes, and lakehouse platforms to support structured and unstructured data.
• Create analytical tools, scripts, and automation to improve data workflows and engineering efficiency.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and data quality across all data platforms by identifying and implementing improvements.
• Support production data systems and continuously enhance data solutions using modern cloud and ETL technologies.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum of 7 years of hands‑on data engineering experience.
• Proven expertise designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data platforms (data lakes/warehouses), and cloud‑based data solutions.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and deliver production‑grade data solutions using modern ETL tools, Agile/TDD practices, and performance optimization techniques.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
