Akkodis is seeking a Calibration Technician for a Contract with a client in Beaverton, OR. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on GP/RF calibration expertise across key test equipment including oscilloscopes, counters, and function generators.
Rate Range: $28/hour to $33/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Calibration Technician Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour

Calibration Technician Job Responsibilities Include
- Perform GP and RF calibration on oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, LCR meters, and other electronic test equipment across standard, data, and accredited procedures.
- Execute out‑of‑tolerance adjustments, troubleshooting, and functional evaluations to ensure equipment meets required specifications.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, including cleaning, firmware/software updates, and operational checks to maintain instrument reliability.
- Support in‑lab, onsite (periodic/permanent), virtual, and mobile lab calibration service delivery based on customer needs.
- Utilize torque tools, handheld multimeters, and basic GP equipment for low‑level technical tasks and verification work.
- Apply PMEL or military calibration training (Air Force, Marines, Navy) to follow established technical standards, documentation practices, and quality protocols.
- Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Metrology, or related technical field (or equivalent military calibration training).
- 2–5 years of hands‑on calibration experience in GP/RF equipment or PMEL/military metrology environments.
- Proven ability to calibrate and troubleshoot oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and related test equipment following standard and accredited procedures.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance, firmware/software updates, and out‑of‑tolerance adjustments while adhering to ISO/IEC 17025 or ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 quality standards.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
